Bahrain Journalists Association holds training session

Manama, Feb. 11(BNA): Bahrain Journalists’ Association (BJA) hosted Shura Council First Deputy President Jamal Fakhro, who addressed a training session under the theme: "How to analyse the budget?". The function was held at the Capital Club today, Monday, in the presence of Shura Council members, lawmakers and journalists. Fakhro stressed the key role of the fourth estate in scrutinizing the budget and informing the public impartially. BJA President Ahdeya Ahmed thanked the Shura Council First Deputy President for his cooperation which stems from his firm belief in the role played by the fourth estate. BJA Training Committee Chairman Hassan Al-Sitri said that more workshops would be held to raise key issues which concern the public opinion and journalists.
