Bahrain Journalists Association hosts Kuwaiti actor

Manama, Feb. 21 (BNA): Bahrain Journalist Association (BJA) has today hosted a ceremony in honour of Kuwaiti actor Mohammed Al-Mansour. His Majesty’s Advisor for Information Affairs Nabeel bin Yacoub Al-Hamer and Kuwaiti Ambassador, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps Shaikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Salah were present, along with Kuwait media figure Mohammad Al-Lewis and other artistic and cultural figures. The association hosted the ceremony, marking Kuwait’s 58th National. Al-Mansour stressed the importance of the Kuwaiti drama, highlighting its impact on the Kuwaiti and GCC societies. He also shed light on challenges facing the Gulf actors. BJA President Ahdeya Ahmed Al-Sayyed extended deepest congratulations to the State of Kuwait, hailing strong bilateral relations. Speaking on behalf of BJA members, she welcomed Kuwaiti Ambassador Shaikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Salah, hailing his role in supporting bilateral relations and joint cooperation. She said that the ceremony is part of the BJA adopted strategy to support and consolidate fraternal relations between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member countries. Al-Mansour expressed delight at attending the ceremony, stressed the importance of art, which is based on respect and credibility. He warned against the detrimental impact of social media websites and the US cinema industry on the world.
