Bahrain Jurist Society condemns Houthi terrorist attack

Manama, June 13 (BNA): Bahrain Jurists Society condemned the attack perpetrated by the Iran-back terrorist Houthi militias, targeting Abha International Airport, which left 26 civilian people from different nationalities injured. In a statement today, it denounced the hostile and criminal acts perpetrated by the terrorist militias which unseated the legitimate government in the Republic of Yemen, targeting civilian populations, in breach of international conventions on armed conflicts. It called upon the international community and the UN International Security Council to assume their responsibilities and take firm and urgent action to put an end to the hostile and terrorist Houthis’ attacks targeting civilian people. Bahrain Jurists Society Chairman Ali Alqattaf denounced the criminal acts which target civilian people’s lives in breach of all religious precepts. He cited the 4 Geneva Conventions, which date back to 1949, which stipulate rules that in times of armed conflict and seek to protect people who are not part in hostilities.
