Bahrain-Malaysia ties praised

Manama, Apr. 3 (BNA): His Highness Brigadier-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Commander of the Royal Guard has received Malaysian Defence Minister Hishammuddin Hussein. HH Shaikh Nasser commended the cooperation ties especially in the military and defense fields, asserting keenness on developing these ties to higher levels that will serve the interest of both friendly countries and peoples. His Highness Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Commander of the Royal Guard Special Force; Defence Affairs Minister Lt-General Yousef bin Ahmed Al Jalahma; Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani; the BDF Chief-of-Staff Lt-General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi and senior BDF officers attended the reception ceremony. HH Shaikh Nasser received a memorial gift from the Malaysian minister of defence.
