Bahrain model in tolerance, coexistence

Manama, Mar. 14 (BNA): Representatives Council Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal said Bahrain represents a distinguished model in coexistence and tolerance. It is also an inspiring country for the world in respecting faiths and promoting peace and co-existence, she added. The Representatives Council Speaker was speaking as she received members of Haj Abbas community centre administration in Manama. She pointed out that national unity and unique social cohesion in Bahrain are the dividend of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's wise vision in promoting justice, equality and good citizenship. She added Bahrain is characterised by intellectual and cultural diversity in a cohesive community keen on loyalty to the nation and leadership, boosting national unity and preserving hard-won gains brought about by the democratic march initiated by HM the King. Haj Abbas community centre delegation congratulated the Representatives Council Speaker on being appointed to her post, stressing keenness on promoting communication with the council, being the representative and defender of people's rights, accomplishments and aspirations.
