Bahrain, the Netherlands discuss parliamentary cooperation

Manama, Feb. 21 (BNA): Council Representatives Speaker Fawzia Abdullah Zainal today received Kuwait-resident Dutch Ambassador to Bahrain, Frans Potuyt, and discussed promoting parliamentary cooperation and economic and investment projects. The Speaker highlighted Bahrain’s keenness to boost joint projects with Arab and friendly countries in the interest of to benefit joint interests, underlining resolve to achieve goals of sustainable development by the parliamentary role. She lauded the distinguished bilateral relations and joint ventures, welcoming mutual stances towards championing values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence and reinforcing international efforts against terrorism and extremism. The Ambassador praised the progress witnessed by Bahrain under the royal leadership, stressing his country’s keenness to further upgrade relations to achieve more joint interests.
