Bahrain- Oman municipal cooperation discussed

Manama, Nov.2(BNA): Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Nabeel Abul-Fateh received a delegation from the Municipality of Muscat, the Sultanate of Oman and discussed joint cooperation. Led by director-general for IT Dr. Khalid bin Dawood Al-zadjali, the delegation arrived in Manama to be updated about the crucuail role played by municipalities and the municipal structural organisation in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Dr. Abul-Fateh briefed the Omani delegation about the history of municipal work in Bahrain since the first municipality was established in 1919, stressing municipal strides in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. He underlined the “Binayat” project, which was launched by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier to fast-track licence issuance procedures in line with the 2030 Bahrain Economic Vision.
