Bahrain participates in ASHRM board meeting

Manama, Oct. 2 (BNA): Bahrain has participated in the Arabian Society for Human Resource Management (ASHRM)’s Board of Trustees meeting, held recently in Dubai, UAE. Assistant Undersecretary for Information and Follow-up at HRH Premier’s Court, and Arabian Society for Human Resource Management (ASHRM)’s Board of Trustees member Dr. Ibrahim bin Khalifa Al-Dossary, took part in the meeting. The panel reviewed ASHRM’s strategic plan for the coming years, and agreed to set up a network in other Arab countries, and revive ASHRM’s annual award. The board also approved ASHRM’s upcoming international conference, set to be held in March, 2017, with a participation of a line-up of high-profile world speakers and CEOs of a number of mega world companies, as well as representatives from international organisations which are specialised in human resources development. Chaired by Abdulhadi Al-Mansouri, ASHRM’s Board of Trustees comprises a number of Arab human resources. It oversees ASHRM’s work, and is supported by mega international and GCC companies, including Saudi Arabia’s Aramco, for their belief in the crucial role of human resources in the progress of nations and countries.
