Bahrain participates in GCC ministerial meeting

Manama, Nov. 6 (BNA): Parliament Affairs Minister Ghanim bin Fadhil Al Buainain chaired Bahrain’s delegation in the 18th meeting of the Ministerial Committee in charge of following up on the decisions related to the joint GCC work. The meeting was held today in the State of Kuwait. It reviewed the implementation of the GCC Supreme Council’s resolutions in the GCC countries, as well as the progress in implementing the recommendations of the last meeting of the same held in April 2017 in Bahrain. The GCC Statistical Center gave a presentation on the implementation of decisions for the benefit of Gulf citizens. The GCC Secretary-General, Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani, called on heads of delegations to activate the secretariat’s electronic System for the joint action resolutions that will enable the GCC countries to be familiarized with and follow up the Supreme Councils’ decisions. The Parliament Affairs Minister praised the GCC Secretariat’s efforts to achieve the electronic system, expressing his thanks and gratitude for the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry's generous hospitality and the high-level organization of the meeting.
