Bahrain participates in GCC top military committee meeting

Kuwait, Sept. 10 (BNA): BDF Chief-of-Staff Lt-General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi today headed Bahrain's delegation to the 15th meeting of the Supreme Military Committee of Chiefs of Staff of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, held in the sisterly Kuwait. The meeting was attended by the Chiefs of Staff of the GCC, Egypt, Jordan and the US-CENTCOM commander. They discussed several issues to enhance the future Gulf defense policy and strengthening coordination in the military field among member states in accordance with a comprehensive and unified strategy that serves the Gulf security.
