Bahrain participates in HACGAM meeting

Colombo, July 10 (BNA): A delegation from the Coast Guard has participated in the 15th Heads of Asian Coast Guard Agencies Meeting (HACGAM) in Sri Lanka, with the participation of 26 states and organisations. Bahrain joined the organisation last year as a permanent member, in which the meeting has been a leading platform for dialogue on regional maritime law enforcement coordination, capacity building and controlling unlawful activities at sea. The meeting is considered to be one of the main events in the regional maritime law enforcement calendar.
