Bahrain participates in World Investment Forum

Manama, Oct. 23 (BNA): Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed R. Alzayani headed the Kingdom's delegation participating in the World Investment Forum organized by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in Genève, Switzerland, on October 22-26. The forum's agenda included a number of important topics in the global economic arena; including challenges for international investment in the new era of globalisation and industrialisation. As well as the issues of investment for sustainable development and enhancing global partnerships to advance the economy. The opening ceremony was attended by highest-level representation from the host country, Switzerland, UNCTAD member States, the global business community, as well as other investment stakeholders and international organizations.
