Bahrain; Poland hold third political consultations session

Manama, Apr.12 (BNA): The third political consultations meeting was convened virtually today between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Poland. The session was chaired by Undersecretary for International Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and the his Polish counterpart Pawel Jablonski. Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa praised the distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Poland, which are based on mutual respect and constructive cooperation in various fields, noting that the countries celebrated this month three decades of diplomatic relations between them. He also expressed the Kingdom’s aspiration for Poland’s participation in the implementation of the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030’s programs and initiatives, in light of an encouraging business environment as well as logistical capabilities and the Kingdom’s leadership in technical and financial technology. He appreciated the positive role played by Poland in enhancing peace and coexistence, noting that Warsaw had hosted the third edition of the ministerial conference on advancing freedom of religion or belief. He underscored the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation to overcome the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic, reviewing in this regard the efforts and effectiveness measures of Team Bahrain led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The meeting discussed opportunities to enhance cooperation between the two sides and coordinating positions regarding issues of common interest.
