Bahrain police sacrifices lauded

Manama, Dec. 13 (BNA): Minister of Information, Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi, the Board of Trustees Chairman of Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD), praised the enormous sacrifices of Bahrain Police in maintaining national security and stability, serving the community and enforcing the law professionally, honestly and transparently. He also lauded the pivotal role of Bahrain Police in boosting the comprehensive development march spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The Information Minister extended heartfelt congratulations to Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, and all the Interior Ministry affiliates on the Police Day which is observed in conjunction with the national days. He underscored the citizens and residents’ pride in the noble role of Bahrain Police in providing security and social services with utmost competence. Al Romaihi highly valued the proactive participation of the security bodies within Bahrain taskforce, led by HRH the Crown Prince, in combating the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the frontlines. He pointed out their constant support to the health professionals in implementing health procedures at hospitals, quarantine and examination centres and mobile clinics. The Minister of Information affirmed pride of the Bahraini people in celebrating the Police Day in appreciation of the remarkable role of Bahrain Police in promoting justice, integrity and dedication as well as maintaining national unity, security and stability. He pointed out the police’s contribution to fighting extremism, terrorism and criminality, paying tribute to the injured security officers and the fallen servicemen who paid with their lives to ensure national prosperity, sovereignty and safety.
