Bahrain praises USA remarks on Iranian destructive role in the region

Manama, Nov. 29 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain commended the remarks delivered today by the United States Special Representative for Iran, Brian Hook, at a military base in Washington D.C, in which he highlighted Iran’s destructive role and the severe threat the regime imposes on the security and stability of the region and the world. He spoke about how Iran provides support to many armed groups and militias in the Kingdom of Bahrain and other Arab countries through funds, provision of weapons, explosives and training. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its appreciation of the United States’ keenness to promote joint cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Ministry also highlighted the United States’ significant and strategic role in the region, and its tremendous efforts to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and to confront those supporting or funding it. It also reiterated Bahrain's support for these critical efforts and stands alongside the United States of America in the war against terrorism and in combatting the Iranian regime's interference in the region in order to enhance international security and stability.
