Bahrain promotion to tolerance, peaceful coexistence hailed

Manama, (BNA): Board of Trustees Chairman of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence, Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, said the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence are clearly seen in the policy of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa stated that as he today received Rev. Johnnie Moore in the presence of the Center’s Board members. He pointed out HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s noble effort to promote values of coexistence and respect for others at the global level highlights Bahrain as a country promoter to friendship and peace and supporter for stability among various races, societies and religions. He added that the establishment of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence reflects the march of hard work towards establishing principles of tolerance and coexistence. Rev. Moore paid tribute to the advanced legislation, policies and intellectual and ideological freedoms he learnt about during his visit, which accentuate the openness of the Bahraini community as a leading model of religious tolerance and peace.
