Bahrain set to host WAHO international conference

Manama, Feb. 2 (BNA): Bahrain is set to host the international conference of the World Arabian Horse Organisation (WAHO) from February 5 to 16 at the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain Hotel. The major regional event will be held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of the Crown Prince’s son Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the conference’s High Organising Committee Chairman. The conference is expected to witness large scale international participation to discuss issues pertaining to the organisation’s activities around the world. The organizing committee has finalized all needed arrangements to ensure success of the event. Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa underlined the importance of holding the conference in Bahrain which is considered as one of the most important countries in the region in looking after Arabian horses. He stressed that the confidence of WAHO in Bahrain asserts the kingdom’s advanced standing and reputation. He also directed to ensure success of the conference and affirm Bahrain’s status as a major host of international events. Shaikh Isa thanked WAHO members for their tremendous efforts to raise the number of Arabian horses in the region through well-defined procedures.
