Bahrain-Sudan health cooperation discussed

Manama, Sept. 17 (BNA): Health Minister Faeqa bint Saeed Al Saleh has received Ambassador of Sudan to Bahrain, Ibrahim Mohammed El Hassan, and discussed the cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the field of health. The minister praised the longstanding brotherly ties, noting the growth of the cooperation especially in the field of medical training and exchange of medical expertise between Bahrain and Sudan. The ambassador praised the existing bilateral cooperation in various fields, especially in the health sector. He expressed his country's readiness to intensify the cooperation and coordination with Bahrain in the medical treatment field and the exchange of specialized expertise between both sides. The minister cited Bahrain's Ministry of Health (MoH) anticipated participation in the 65th Session of the Middle East Regional Committee of the World Health Organisation (WHO) slated to be hosted in Khartoum on October 15-18.
