Bahrain to take part in Arab Parliaments Speakers Conference

Manama, Feb. 10 (BNA): The Representatives Council is taking part in the second session of the Arab Parliaments Speakers Conference which is set to be held from February 10 to 12 at the headquarters of the Arab League Secretariat General. Representatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla will head the Bahraini delegation which comprises MPs Abdulrahman Buali and Abdulrahman Bumjid as well as Chairman of the council's Secretariat General's Legal Advisors Board Dr. Saleh Al Ghathith. The conference will shed light on a number of issues, including mainly the Arab national security and fighting extremism and terrorism. It will also spotlight results of the first conference and the resolutions which have been implemented as well as other Arab issues. The initiative of the Arab Parliament to hold the Arab Parliaments Speakers Conference is part of the efforts made to boost pan-Arab work and serve the supreme interest of the Arab nation.
