Bahrain takes a lead in hosting BIAS

By Nayla Barakat Manama, Nov. 9 (BNA): Bahrain has taken a lead in the aviation industry and made remarkable progress in it, as it commemorates a decade in hosting Bahrain International Air Show, a senior official has said. “Bahrain is a leader in organizing international events and has proven to the world that it can present the best,” GPIC Chairman Kamal bin Ahmed said. “The sixth edition of the Bahrain International Airshow is an important event that has established itself in the aviation industry. “We have witnessed its progress and have seen how it has evolved from year to year and it is almost a 10-year anniversary.” Although the competition in organising airshow at the global level is so severe, Bahrain has proved that they can deliver a successful airshow, he added. “What makes Bahrain unique and different from the others is that we are a friendly country, and we welcome everybody. And it is here that we are talking about business, and we need to bring people from different parts of the world to create a good atmosphere for them,” he said. Ahmed wished all the participants the best of luck and a wonderful stay in Bahrain.
