Bahrain taking part in Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2020

Manama, Jan. 10 (BNA): Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA) President Dr Abdulhussain Ali Mirza is taking part in the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2020 (ADWS). The event will be held under the patronage of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan includes the 10th Assembly of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), the Atlantic Council Global Energy Forum, The Future Sustainability Summit, the WFES Exhibition and Forums, Abu Dhabi Sustainable Finance Forum, and the Zayed Sustainability Prize Awards Ceremony. “Bahrain's participation is based on the esteemed government’s interest and keenness to participate in this annual event and the important leading role it plays in advancing sustainable development efforts around the world,” the minister said. “More than 40,000 participants from 175 countries from different countries are participating, including more than 300 speakers and 180 ministers. It provides an opportunity to sharing knowledge, expertise and strategies in the fields of renewable and clean energy. It is the largest sustainability gathering in the Middle East region aimed at exploring the most prominent social and economic trends aimed at promoting sustainability.”
