Bahrain tourism sector development highlighted

Manama, Oct. 20 (BNA): Deputy Premier His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa has received president of the Arab Tourism Organisation, Dr. Bander bin Fahad Al Fuhaid. Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed R. Alzayani and Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa the Chief Executive of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority attended the meeting. HH Shaikh Mohammed asserted Bahrain's focusing on the tourism sector and its encouragement of investment in this vital sector as part of public policy for diversification of revenue sources in harmony with Bahrain Economic Vision2030 and priorities of the Government Action Plan (GAP2014-2018). Dr. Al Fuhaid thanked His Highness, lauding the level of coordination and cooperation between the Arab Tourism Organisation (ATO) and the Kingdom of Bahrain as well as the interest shown by all Bahraini officials and authorities in the ATO's programmes and activities, also praising the continuous development and growth of the tourism sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
