Bahrain-UAE charity cooperation hailed Bahrain / local / Bahrain/UAE charity cooperation hailed Abu Dhabi, Sept.17 (BNA): Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) Secretary-General Dr. Mustapha Al-Sayyed met Ahmed Juma Al Zaabi, Minister of the Federal Supreme Council at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs and Deputy Chairman of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Foundation. This followed directives from His Majesty’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, RCO Board of Trustees’ Chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa. Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Foundation director-general Mohammed Hajji Al-Khoury attended Dr. Al-Sayyed conveyed greetings from His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa to the UAE leadership and people, hailing cooperation between the Royal Charity Organisation and the Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Foundation. The meeting focused on relief aid programme which will be carried out by the Royal Charity Organisation, in cooperation with the Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Foundation, to distribute food parcels in several areas of Yemen. The lifeline which follows directives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, with the support of the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime, as well as the backing of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa. Dr. Al-Sayyed hailed the efforts of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to promote humanitarian relief aid. He commended the dedicated efforts exerted by Ahmed Juma Al Zaabi, Minister of the Federal Supreme Council at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs and Deputy Chairman of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Foundation. He highlighted the vital role of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Foundation, chaired by Deputy Premier Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al-Nahyan. Al Zaabi hailed dee-rooted historic relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. He commended the relief aid provided by the Kingdom of Bahrain through the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO). He stressed the crucial cooperation between the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) and the Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Foundation, supported by the Deputy Premier Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al-Nahyan. Yemeni Ambassador to Bahrain Hassan Massoud Qahtan hailed the royal directives issued by HM the King to dispatch relief aid consignment, lauding the follow up of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.
