Bahrain-UAE cooperation health hailed

Manama, Jan. 24(BNA): Deputy Premier Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa stressed Bahrain’s keenness on building bridges with brotherly countries to exchange successful practices and develop the health sector. He made the statement as he received this morning, at Gudaibiya Palace, Abu Dhabi Health Department Chairman Shaikh Abdulla bin Mohammed Al-Hamed.
He conveyed greetings from His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa to the delegation, hailing the tremendous efforts exerted by the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to achieve sustainable development in Bahrain by funding medical and health projects in particular.
The Deputy Premier hailed strong bilateral relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, describing joint ties as a role model for relations between brotherly states. He commended the health strides achieved by the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, stressing particularly the landmark achievements in the field of health insurance system, being implemented by the Abu Dhabi Health Department.
Abu Dhabi Health Department Chairman Shaikh Abdulla bin Mohammed Al-Hamed thanked the Deputy Premier for the warm welcome and hospitality, expressing readiness to expand health cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain. He commended Bahrain’s strides in developing medical services, setting up high-standard health facilities and investing in human resources and honing competences.
