Bahrain-UAE relations model to be emulated

Manama, Dec. 2 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, congratulated HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, on the UAE 49th National Day. HH Shaikh Nasser also congratulated HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and HH Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council. HH Shaikh Nasser said that Bahrain and the UAE United Arab Emirates are linked by close and historical relations in various field and that their ties are steadily prospering and coordination widening in various fields, which makes a model to be emulated. The celebration of the UAE National Day is an ideal opportunity to shed light on the great achievements made by the brotherly country at various levels, he added. People in the Arabian Gulf and the UAE citizens feel the development, prosperity and successive achievements of the country at various levels, mainly the developmental, economic, scientific and technological aspects that were recently reflected in the launch of "Hope Probe" as the first mission by an Arab and Muslim country to explore Mars, he said. The UAE National Day is an occasion to recall with great pride the brilliant lives of the UAE founding fathers who shaped the aspirations of their people and made its multiplicity a single political entity united by a shared history and identity and by a common destiny, he added. Today, everyone is looking with admiration and appreciation at the civilizational progress happening in the United Arab Emirates. HH Shaikh Nasser emphasized that the civilizational shift in the UAE was the outcome of proper planning by its leadership that enabled the state, with all its components, to achieve a very advanced level in development indicators in all areas.
