Bahrain-UK relations reviewed

Manama, Dec. 27 (BNA): Assistant Foreign Minister, Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabur Al-Doseri, met at the Ministry’s General Court today, with former Prime Minister's Special Envoy for Freedom of Religion and Belief and member of the UK-Bahrain All-Party Parliamentary Group, Rehman Chishti. Both sides reviewed historic Bahraini-UK relations and the achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of human rights and freedom of religion and belief. They also spotlighted Bahrain’s experience in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, affirming keenness to further develop ties between the two Kingdoms to serve common interests. For his part, MP Chishti commended the freedom of religion in the Kingdom of Bahrain, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
