Bahrain-UK ties praised

Manama, Sept. 24 (BNA): BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa on Monday received Lt-General Thomas Becket the Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in the Middle East, and UK Defence's former Senior Adviser for Middle East, praising the Bahrain-UK longstanding friendship and cooperation ties especially the exchange of military expertise and defence cooperation. The Director of BDF's General Command Headquarters, General Hassan Mohammed Saad; and, General Abdullah Hassan Al Nuaimi the Inspector-General were present during the meeting.
