Bahrain - US cooperation hailed

Manama, Feb. 12(BNA): Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa hosted a dinner banquet this evening, at his majlis in West Riffa, in honour of Commander of the US Central Command (USCENTCOM) General Joseph Votel, currently on his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Present were Defence Affairs Minister Lieutenant-General Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi and BDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Dheyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi. The BDF chief welcomed USCENTCOM commander and the accompanying delegation, hailing deep-rooted historic relations binding the two friendly countries. They reviewed relations of cooperation and friendship and steadily-growing ties, particularly military coordination and defence cooperation between the two friendly countries. The banquet was also attended by Defence Ministry Undersecretary Major-General Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa and other senior BDF officers.
