Bahrain-US defence cooperation discussed

Manama, Dec. 30 (BNA): National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, Major General HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, received today Admiral Charles Bradford Cooper, the commander of United States Naval Forces Central Command, Commander, United States Fifth Fleet. Major General HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa welcomed him and reviewed with him means of boosting cooperation between the two friendly countries, mainly in the military and defence fields. He lauded historical relations of friendship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the USA. He also stressed deep strategic partnership between the two friendly countries and mutual commitment to boosting security and peace in the region.
