Bahrain, US discuss ways to strengthen defence cooperation

Manama, Nov. 19 (BNA): Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshall Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received US Assistant Secretary for Political-Military Affairs R. Clarke Cooper. The meeting reviewed ways to strengthen ties across several areas, particularly military coordination and defence cooperation. Issues of shared interest were also discussed during the meeting. The BDF Commander-in-Chief lauded the close friendship between Bahrain and the US and their steady and distinguished consolidation.
