Bahrain-US ties praised

Manama, Feb. 28 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa today received the US Ambassador to Bahrain Justin H. Siberell. The minister praised the distinguished historic relations of friendship between the Kingdom and the United States. He added that these constantly developing relations are based on mutual respect and keenness to bolster them at all levels, noting the important strategic role played by the United States to enhance international peace and security. The minister affirmed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to continue working with the United States in the shared interest of both countries and peoples. The ambassador expressed his pleasure to have met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, affirming the keenness of the United States to strengthen its ties with Bahrain as well as enhance joint coordination at all levels, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
