Bahrain-US ties reviewed

Manama, Jan. 22 (BNA): Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed R. Alzayani has received US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, William V. Roebuck. During the meeting, they reviewed several topics and issues of mutual interest between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States (USA). The minister expressed kingdom’s welcome for all steps taken by the two governments to promote the longstanding bilateral ties which culminated in the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) which contributed to boosting the bilateral trade volume. The minister said "the government of Bahrain always seeks to enhance its economic ties with all countries especially under bilateral agreement(s). The minister stressed the role played by the private sector in both countries and its keenness to benefit from FTA.
