Bahrain, Uzbekistan relations discussed

Manama, Feb. 24 (BNA): The Assistant Undersecretary for Western Countries and Afro-Asian Affairs, Ambassador Tawfeeq Al-Mansoor, received a delegation of Uzbek Foreign Affairs Ministry, led by the Treaty Law Department Director Azmiov Mirvokhid Mirilyosovich. The meeting discussed the development of bilateral relations and cooperation in areas of common interest, including the legal, political, economic and tourism fields, in order to benefit both countries and people. Ambassador Al-Mansoor highlighted the contributions of the Uzbek community in the development process of the Kingdom, affirming the continuation of coordination between the two countries at both the regional and international levels, valuing the efforts of the Uzbek embassy based in Kuwait. The Uzbek delegation praised the close ties between the two countries, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
