Bahrain voices support to Saudi; condemned Houthis’ terrorist attacks

Manama, July 3 (BNA): Bahrain strongly condemned the the terrorist Houthi militia's attempt, through two explosive-laden boats in Al-Hudaydah Governorate in Yemen, to threaten the security of maritime navigation and the safety of global trade lines south of the Red Sea, in violation of the Stockholm Agreement and the ceasefire implemented in the governorate. The Foreign Ministry condemned the continued attacks of the terrorist Houthi militia against Saudi Arabia by launching a hostile drone towards the Kingdom yesterday evening, in addition to the thwarted attempt to launch an explosive-laden drone towards the city of Khamis Mushait this morning, to target safe civilians and civil facilities in violation of International humanitarian law. In a statement today, it commended the vigilance of the coalition forces to support legitimacy in Yemen and the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces in promptly dealing with these repeated terrorist attacks. It stressed Bahrain’s support to Saudi Arabia, backing all measures it takes to ensure the security of its territory, its citizens and residents, in addition to preserving the safety of shipping lines. The ministry called upon the international community to take deterrent measures against the terrorist Houthi militia to stop such actions.
