Bahrain welcomes ceasefire between Azerbaijan and Armenia

Manama, Oct.10 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain has today welcomed the ceasefire agreement reached between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, noting the keenness of the two countries to de-escalate in order to preserve peace and stability. The Foreign Ministry commended the efforts exerted by the friendly Russian Federation in order to reach this important agreement. It also looked forward to the constructive dialogue between Azerbaijan and Armenia as a result of this step to reach a political solution to this conflict, in a way that meets the aspirations of the two peoples for peace, security and stability.
