Bahrain welcomes Saudi-led Red Sea and Gulf of Aden entity

Manama, Dec.12 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed the announcement of made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to establish an entity of countries along the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. It hailed the initiative, which is part of an ongoing and pioneering initiatives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, to develop joint Arab action, establish security and promote development in the region and the world. It commended the Saudi move which reflects the great importance of providing security and protection for this strategic and important region for international navigation and trade. Bahrain affirmed that the establishment of this entity will enhance joint cooperation and coordination between the Arab countries along the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden at all political, economic and security fields, as well as promote their interests and support the efforts to establish stability at the regional and international levels.
