Bahrain welcomes U.S., Taliban peace deal

Manama, Mar. 1 (BNA): Bahrain has welcomed the signing of the peace deal between the U.S and Taliban as an important step towards achieving security and stability throughout Afghanistan. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its aspiration that the step would achieve its goals of de-escalation and ceasefire. The ministry also affirmed Bahrain’s solidarity with the U.S. in its efforts to establish security and peace regionally and internationally.
