Bahraini ambassador to Egypt participates in Arab League Council 154th session as permanent delegate

Manama, Sept. 8 (BNA): Bahraini Ambassador to Egypt and the Kingdom's Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, Hisham bin Muhammad Al-Jowder, participated in the work of the 154th session of the Arab League Council as one of the permanent delegates at the headquarters of the General Secretariat. The session was presided by the Permanent Representative of Palestine to the Arab League, Ambassador Diab Al-Louh, to prepare for the work of the virtual session at the level of Arab foreign ministers on September 9th, under the chairmanship of the Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Riyadh Al-Malki. The Ambassador affirmed that the permanent delegates' meetings are preparing for the Arab foreign ministers’ meetings in terms of related draft agenda and decisions, and submitting them for discussion and approval. The draft agenda included a number of political, security, social, health and administrative items of interest to joint Arab action, Turkish and Iranian interventions in the internal affairs of Arab countries, in addition to developments of the situation in Libya and other political crises in the Arab arena. It also discussed a number of social and health issues, including the Arab cooperation response to (Covid-19).
