Bahraini Ambassador to Italy meets with FAO officials

Rome, May 12 (BNA): Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Italian Republic, Dr. Nasser Mohammed Al-Balushi, met virtually with the Chairman of the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO)'s Right to Food team, Juan Carlos Garcia, Policy Expert of the Right to Food team, Serena Pepino, and member of FAO, Huda Al-Sahi. Dr. Al-Balushi stressed the importance of promoting constructive cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain, FAO and other international organisations, hailing the efforts and role of the World Food Programme. He also noted that Bahrain provides an international model in the rates of achieving sustainable development in its various objectives and fields, based on the comprehensive reform approach of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the government’s leading programmes and plans, in line with the goals and principles of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.
