Bahraini Ambassador meets with Director of Italy’s Institute of International Affairs

Rome, Apr. 30 (BNA): Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Italian Republic, Dr. Nasser Mohammad Al Balooshi, met the Director of the Institute of International Affairs in the Italian Republic "Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI)", Dr. Nathalie Tocci. Both sides welcomed the relations between the European Union and the GCC countries and the strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Italian Republic based on mutual respect and qualitative development at various levels. They highlighted the positive results of the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Italian Republic in February 2020, when 14 agreements and memoranda of understanding were signed. Dr. Nathalie Tocci expressed her aspiration to cooperate with the Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies to discuss opportunities for cooperation in the field of strategic and international studies, in addition to exchanging experiences and visits, and holding joint events and programs in all areas of common interest.
