Bahraini ambassador meets Somali Trade minister

Muscat, Feb. 20 (BNA): Bahrain’s Non-Resident Ambassador to Mogadishu, Dr. Juma bin Ahmed Al Kaabi, met Somali Trade and Industry Minister Abdullah Ali Hassan, in Oman on an official visit. The meeting reviewed the historical bilateral relations, means of developing them at all levels. Dr. Al Kaabi noted Bahrain's keenness to continue cooperation with Somalia in investment, commerce, and industry. The minister reviewed the program of his upcoming visit to the Kingdom on February 21- 23, to meet Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani. He said that he is looking forward to enhancing trade and investment exchange because of Bahrain’s distinguished investment climate, in addition to its encouraging regulations and laws for foreign investors. The minister valued the humanitarian projects carried out by Bahrain, represented by the Royal Charity Organization (RCO) to support Somali people, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
