Bahraini ambassador presents credentials to Prince of Principality of Liechtenstein

Manama, Apr. 24 (BNA): Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva and Vienna, Ambassador Dr. Yusuf AbdulKarim Bucheeri, presented his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Principality of Liechtenstein, residing in Geneva, to HRH the Prince of Liechtenstein Hans-Adam II. Following the protocol and precautionary measures taken by the government of Liechtenstein to prevent coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the ceremony took place through a video call with H.S.H. Hereditary Prince Alois and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liechtenstein, Dr. Katrin Eggenberger, making it a historical precedent in the protocol of the presentation of credentials. The Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister to H.S.H. Hereditary Prince Alois. H.S.H. Hereditary Prince Alois requested the ambassador to convey his greeting to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s leadership, lauding growing bilateral relations in the economic, political and diplomatic fields. He wished the Kingdom of Bahrain further growth and prosperity and success to the ambassador.
