Bahraini-British relations praised

Manama, Feb. 10 (BNA): National Guard Commander General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa received today the UK's Senior Defence Advisor to the Middle East Lieutenant General Sir John Lorimer and his accompanying delegation. The meeting was attended by British Military Attache Commander Paul A Windsar. The National Guard Commander underlined solid bilateral relations, pointing out the tremendous efforts of the UK’s Defence Ministry in promoting cooperation between the two friendly countries. Both sides discussed issues of common interest. Lt. General Sir John Lorimer praised strong historical relations between Bahrain and the UK, stressing his country’s keenness on further bolstering them to achieve regional and strategic security and maintain the kingdom’s growth.
