Bahraini-Chechen cooperation discussed

Manama, Apr. 5 (BNA): Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, today held talks with Chechen Prime Minister Ruslan Edelgeriev, Adviser to the Chechen President for Investment Affairs, Hassan Khakimov, and Personal Assistant to Chechen President, Philippe Variginko. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the visit of the Chechen President and the accompanying delegation to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Bilateral relations were discussed, as well as ways to boost cooperation in various fields, chiefly economic, industrial and tourism, in the interest of joint interest. The minister praised both sides' efforts in promoting bilateral relations to meet the aspirations of the two governments. He pointed out the role of the private sector, exchange of visits and joint activities in encouraging investments and enhancing trade exchange, mainly in areas of food, agriculture and industries.
