Bahraini-Japanese ties praised

Manama, Feb. 1 (BNA): Deputy Premier Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa said that the Japanese advanced experience is considered a role model to be followed for development in various fields. Shaikh Khalid’s remarks came as he received today Ambassador of Japan to Bahrain, Kiyoshi Asako, and commended his efforts in bolstering the bilateral ties, wishing him success. The deputy PM praised the bilateral ties fostered by the two countries' leaderships over more than four decades, especially the cooperation in the economic and investment fields. The outgoing ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Kingdom’s leadership, government and people for helping to facilitate his diplomatic duties, citing the outstanding Bahraini-Japanese relations that reflect in attracting Japanese engineering firms to implement mega projects in Bahrain.
