Bahraini-Jordanian cooperation in higher education discussed

Manama, Jan. 4 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council (HEC) and Deputy Chairperson of HEC Board of Trustees, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, today held a meeting with the Secretary-General of the Higher Education and Scientific Research Ministry in Jordan, Dr. Mamoun Mohammed Al-Debi'e, on the sidelines of the preparatory ministerial meeting for the Bahrain-Jordan Joint Higher Committee. The two sides reviewed ways to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of higher education and scientific research, as well as increase scientific investment opportunities in order to achieve the visions and aspirations of the two brotherly countries. Dr. Shaikha Rana stressed the importance of talking advantage of the academic expertise in Jordanian higher education establishments, in addition to the experience of the Unified Admission Unit. Dr. Al-Debi'e expressed appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Shaikha Rana, highlighting the importance of cooperation and coordination between the two countries to further enhance bilateral relations.
