Bahraini, Jordanian Education Ministers convene

Manama, Apr 2 (BNA) -- Minister of Education, Chairman of Higher Education Council, Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi, today met Ministry of Higher Education of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Dr. Amin Mahmoud Abdullah and discussed cooperation in the higher education and scientific researches. Jordanian Education Minister gave a brief explanation about programmes and institutions of higher education in Jordan. Bahrain's Education Minister gave an overview of the strategic plan for the development of higher education and scientific researches in Bahrain. Bahrain's Ambassador to Jordan, Nasser Rashid Al-Ka'abi and Secretary-General of Higher Education Council, Dr. Riad Yusuf Hamza, attended the meeting.
