Bahraini-Russian economic cooperation reviewed

Manama, Feb. 28 (BNA): Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)’s First Deputy Chairman Khalid Mohammed Jajibi today received the newly appointed Russian Ambassador to Bahrain, Igor Krimenov, and stressed keenness to further strengthening the bilateral relations and cooperation. Ways to boost trade volume and the interchange of business expertise between the two countries were discussed, in addition to increasing the exchange of visits between business owners. Najibi commended the role of the Russian Embassy in promoting economic and investment cooperation. The Russian Ambassador welcomed the BCCI’s efforts to develop the economic partnership between the two countries, calling for exploring more investment opportunities for the establishment of new joint investment projects. BCCI’s Second Deputy Chairman Mohammed Abduljabar Al-Kooheji and CEO Shakir Ibrahim Al-Sheter were present.
