Bahraini-Turkish parliamentary cooperation discussed

Geneva, (BNA): Representatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla, the Head of the parliamentary delegation Executive Committee, met with Turkish Speaker of the Grand National Assembly Binali Yıldırım. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Inter-Parliamentary Union's session, currently held in Geneva. Al Mulla underscored the important parliamentary role in boosting relations and cooperation between Arab and Islamic countries in light of the current regional challenges. He affirmed Bahrain's keenness on regional security and stability, fighting terrorism, achieving the comprehensive development goals and achieving people's aspirations. Both sides also discussed ways of boosting Bahraini-Turkish parliamentary cooperation, casting light on the achievements brought about in Bahrain under the royal reform project.
