Bahraini-Turkmen economic relations discussed

Ashgabat, Mar. 18 (BNA): Within the framework of the historical visit paid by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Turkmenistan, the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani affirmed Bahrain's keenness to develop relations, including mainly the economic ones, with all countries in the world. He pointed out the government's unwavering keenness to promote economic partnerships and boost effective cooperation to bolster the national economy and avail of the experiences of brotherly and friendly countries. The minister was speaking at a meeting held at the Turkmen capital, Ashgabat, today with Turkmen Deputy Prime Minister in Charge of Industry and Telecommunications Affairs M. chakyyev. The meeting was attended by Turkmen Minister of Industry and Telecommunications T. Durhanov, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Board Chairman Samir Nass and the Economic Development Board Chief Executive Khalid Al Romaihi. The meeting spotlighted relations between Bahrain and Turkmenistan and ways of bolstering bilateral cooperation, mainly in the industrial and investment fields.
